Flexibility of the racket handle
Choose a racket with racket handle flexibility to suit the way you play badminton, if you are more often played defensive game, you can choose a racket with racket handle that flexible, if not, use a stiff racquet to add extra power when doing a smash. For Type Attacker, choose a racket which is rather heavy (3U or 2U) with a balance point of 285-300 (head heavy)
Eg: Yonex Ti 10, APACS Lethal 50, SOTX Woven
For Type defensive and control, use the racket that is not so heavy (4U or 3U) with a head light balance point (270-285)
For Type Balance which balanced between defense and attack, choose 3U racket, with the balance point 275-285
The most important thing in choosing a badminton racket is to recognize your style of play, tend to attack or defense, although the tips above is not an absolute criterion in choosing a racket, because a sense of comfort when holding the racket and using it is much more important.
